Course Highlights

Provides the participants a clear understanding with the principles of electrocardiogram (ECG). Thus basic concepts will be reviewed such as the Anatomy and Conduction System of the heart, serving as the basis for ECG analysis and Interpretation. Normal and abnormal cardiac rhythm would be discussed with a concept map for its treatment. The course will use an actual ECG machine that would be place on a state-of-the-art training mannequin which will provide various heart rhythms for interpretation. In addition, participants will be familiarized with a variety of Emergency Cardiac Drugs and Antiarrhythmic Medication..

At the end of the course the participants would be able to identify and label normal and abnormal ECG reading, though various instructional methods and suggest practical and pharmacological management for such..
